Reading Culture Research Panel was Made!
42% of our society reads and we believe that reading is important!
In 3rd of November, KONDA Research Company analyst Aydın Erdem and General Manager Bekir Ağırdır made a presentation about the results of the latest Turkey Reading Culture Research, in 38th International Istanbul Book Fair. According to the survey, when compared to the Lifestyles Research which was conducted by KONDA in 2008 the percentage of those who read across Turkey increased from 30% to 42%.
Reading clusters that emerged, as a result, formed the basis of the research. Besides the increase in reading in each cluster between 2008-2019, it has been also observed that while one-fifth of housewives were reading books in 2008, now half of them are readers in 2019.
